Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training helps staff understand the underlying reasons for behaviour, enabling more effective, person-centred support. By identifying unmet needs and triggers, learners can improve quality of life for their service users and reduce the likelihood of behaviours of distress.
The training develops positive, proactive strategies tailored to the individuals being supported, with a clear focus on reducing the need for restrictive physical interventions while promoting safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
This training can also be delivered as part of our Positive Handling for Schools training
