Intelligensa provide Football Steward & Event staff with Physical Intervention and Conflict Management training. This training is ideal for staff who experience aggression, challenging behaviour & conflict in the workplace when dealing with the public.
Delivered at your venue, we can train staff to safely hold those at risk of harming themselves or others.
We will teach staff to spot and diffuse conflict before it escalates.
Outstanding and affordable, our training is available 7 days a week, including evenings. Small groups welcomed.
Core content
This course will keep your staff and supporters safe.
Course content can be tailored to your needs but would typically include:
- The use of force
- Clarification of techniques that should not be used following government guidelines
- Avoiding and detection of Positional Asphyxia,
- Instruction and practice of low risk restrictive physical intervention techniques.
Content extensions
This course can be extended to include additional topics below if required:
- Conflict management
- Powers of arrest
- Powers to eject and trespass
- Football and Sporting Events legislation
- Health and Safety at Work Act
- Human Rights legislation
- Instruction and practice of breakaway techniques
- Instruction and practice of advanced restraint techniques
- Notebook rules and giving evidence
Course information
We work with clubs of all levels.
This 1/2 day course (4 hours) can also be delivered in the evenings & weekends to accommodate external commitments football and event stewards may have.
The course can be run twice in a day (AM/PM) to get maximum staff trained.
Additional time is required for course extensions.
